Pita Pizzas

Veggie Pita Pizza
1 whole wheat pita
2 tablespoons low-sodium pizza sauce
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons black olives, sliced
Margherita Pita Pizza
1 whole wheat pita
2 tablespoons low-sodium pizza sauce
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 tomato, sliced
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
Tex-Mex Pita Pizza
1 whole wheat pita
2 tablespoons low-sodium pizza sauce
1/4 cup reduced-fat shredded Mexican cheese
1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons corn
1/4 tablespoons jalapeno, sliced
1/8 teaspoon cumin
Directions
1. Preheat oven or toaster oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread pizza sauce onto top of pita(s). Distribute cheese evenly across sauce and top with veggies and any seasonings.
2. Spray cooking spray on a baking sheet and place pita pizza(s) on top. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
