Kudos! October Wellness Champion
Farrah Spellman, System Benefits Wellness Program Manager for the University System of Georgia sponsored a successful “Team USG” at the annual Kaiser Permanente Corporate Run/Walk on Thursday, September 22, 2016.
Farrah and her staff worked tirelessly for months to coordinate plans for a monumental system-wide initiative offering a special registration discount package to employees at all USG institutions. A total of 400 employees registered for the event, representing 8 institutions – Atlanta Metropolitan State College (25), Clayton State University (1), Georgia Gwinnett College (12), Georgia Highlands College (8), Georgia Tech (250), Georgia State University (34), and Kennesaw State University (34), USG System Office (36)
Farrah and her staff hosted a fun Tent Party and Celebration Dinner for all participants following the race/walk. A special thank you is extended to Farrah and her staff -Nicolette Williamson, USG Well-being Intern (Fort Valley State University), Halley Myers – USG Well-being Intern (Georgia State University), and RJ Tapales – USG Well-being Student Assistant (Kennesaw State University)
We want to recognize Farrah for all of the work she has been doing as Wellness Program Manager and Chair of the TRSC Well-Being Subcommittee. She is a true Wellness Champion who has been on a mission to help create a culture of well-being throughout the USG!
